Watch what AgriProcessors does to animals when it thinks no one is watching.
A breaking PETA investigation reveals that the world's largest kosher slaughterhouse, AgriProcessors, is still abusing animals—while deceiving consumers and religious leaders into thinking it has stopped.
.
After our 2004 investigation inside AgriProcessors revealed hideous suffering of cows, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) determined that the plant had "engaged in acts of inhumane slaughter."AgriProcessors recently tried to restore its reputation by giving a tour to selected rabbis, community leaders, and reporters. Video footage from the tour shows slaughter done with one cut by knife to a cow's throat, as is proper for kosher slaughter.
.
But when a PETA investigator quietly returned to AgriProcessors in August 2008, he witnessed something entirely different. Just two weeks after the rabbis' tour, PETA's undercover investigator videotaped a worker who was cruelly hacking holes in cows' throats during slaughter, making a second knife cut similar to the one that got AgriProcessors in trouble before.
In light of this new video exposing the gouging cuts—and AgriProcessors' quite different conduct when it knows that it is being watched—slaughter expert Dr. Temple Grandin states, "The undercover video clearly showed that when they think nobody is looking, they do bad things in this plant."
.
Please, we need your help. Demand that the USDA require AgriProcessors to install video cameras in the plant that would be monitored by a third-party auditor in order to end unnecessary pain and suffering once and for all.
.
Please also forward this important information to your friends and family.
.
Thank you for all that you do for animals.

Sincerely.
